Global-TALKE joins Salou’s solidarity drive for cardiovascular research
Global-TALKE is joining the new edition of the Hotel Olympus Palace 4* charity dinner in Salou as a sponsor, an initiative that in 2026 focuses on research and the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
The event will take place on Thursday, 1 October at the SUMMIT rooftop of Hotel Olympus Palace and will donate its proceeds to the Institut de Recerca Biomèdica Catalunya Sud (IRB CatSud) and the Hospital Universitari Joan XXIII de Tarragona, helping to support research projects related to cardiovascular health.
A solidarity drive for cardiovascular health
This year, the heart becomes the symbol of an initiative that aims to raise awareness of the importance of prevention while supporting the work carried out by healthcare professionals and researchers in the region.
The funds raised will help consolidate existing projects and promote new lines of research in cardiology, strengthening research closely linked to the region and with a direct impact on people’s health and quality of life.
The initiative once again brings together companies, institutions, healthcare professionals and civil society around a common goal: joining forces to turn solidarity into research and new opportunities to improve cardiovascular health.

Six editions building solidarity partnerships
The 2026 event will be the sixth edition of the charity dinner organised by Hotel Olympus Palace. Since its first edition in 2019, the event has supported a range of causes related to health, research and social inclusion.
Over the years, the initiative has collaborated with organisations such as the Asociación Contra el Cáncer de Tarragona, Todos en Azul, the Fundació Rosa Maria Vivar, the Institut d’Investigació Sanitària Pere Virgili, the Stroke Unit of Hospital Joan XXIII and the Fundació Esport Solidari Internacional.
In the 2025 edition, the initiative raised €16,190, consolidating the event as a meeting point for solidarity, the business community and social commitment.
An evening to support research
The charity dinner will take place on Thursday, 1 October at 7:00 p.m. at the SUMMIT rooftop of Hotel Olympus Palace in Salou, during an evening combining gastronomy, solidarity and a range of activities.
The contribution to the charitable cause is €60 per person, and a zero-row donation option has also been set up for individuals and organisations wishing to contribute without attending the event.
Global-TALKE is therefore adding its support to an initiative that demonstrates how collaboration between companies, institutions, professionals and citizens can help drive research projects with a real impact on people.
